1. By Road
Volvo and other busses of tour operators leave Esplanade Bus Stand in Kolkata every night for Siliguri. Approximate cost of the Volvo busses is Rs 800 for a one way journey in a luxurious sleeper coach. For budget conscious travelers there are buses from tour operators as well as Calcutta State Transport Corporation with fares ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 500. The journey is an overnight journey.
2. By Train
An overnight journey by the Darjeeling Mail leaving from Sealdah station in Kolkata will take you to New Jalpaiguri Station in North Bengal. A return ticket for 3 tier sleeper would be approximately Rs 600.
3. From New Jalpaiguri/Siliguri
Once at New Jalpaiguri (NJP)/ Siliguri, you can get innumerable number of share taxis to take you to various destinations in North Bengal and Sikkim. For the budget traveler a share taxi would be ideal as one way cost to Pelling is approximately Rs 300. But for the more luxurious traveler, a car(Bolero/Mahindra Maxx/Santro) can be hired for the trip. Approximate cost for booking the car from NJP/Siliguri to Pelling is Rs 2000. 4. At Pelling

5. Sight-Seeing.
Pelling is a paradise for sight-seeing. You can book a car for the day and visit Rimbi Waterfalls, Rimbi Rock Gardens, Kanchenjungha Falls, Khecheopalri Lake, Rabdentsey Ruins and the Pemayangtse Monastery. Extremely scenic and beautiful. Approximate cost for the whole trip is Rs 1400.
6. At Rabangla
